about

Disorder pt.1...

This is about how any good artist resorts to using their craft as a language to convey feelings that words sometimes fail to deliver. Having our own unique set of eyes and ears, these ideas will inevitably be received differently, which can be frustrating. However, while communicating with words has it's language barriers...art is universal!

lyrics

Hold onto your words with those
Calloused hands of yours
'Cause if you let go they won't be heard
By all those eager ears
When you rely on a hastened reply
Fallacies are assured
And often we miss what there is to learn

A message spoken lost in space
Our syllables broken dissipate
But while a voice begins to fade
A song still plays

For lack of a better word
Why would I choose to say a thing
When I can just play the same
An obsession with semantics is to blame

We give into an enticing sin that
Knock knocks a rhythm at all of our doors
It opens our minds rather than our hearts
And now we're letting all the cold inside
We settle beneath unhumble beliefs
As we embark the search for more
No need to explain before the music starts

Leave your words on the outside
I wouldn't care, I wouldn't care
What the letters make
'Cause there is strength in what you say

Don't give into your own light
You shouldn't care, you shouldn't care
What honesty takes
Leave the answers where they lay

For lack of a better word
Why would I choose to say a thing
When I can just play the same
I'm sorry there wasn't a better refrain
But an obsession with semantics is to blame
